I lavori raccolti in questa sezione appartengono a un arco di ricerca sviluppato tra il 2010 e il 2023. Non costituiscono una sequenza chiusa né una semplice successione di opere, ma una serie di passaggi, emersioni e nuclei di formazione attraverso cui il linguaggio si è progressivamente definito.
In questi anni la ricerca ha attraversato differenti stati: installativi, pittorici, plastici, spaziali, concettuali. Alcuni elementi che nelle fasi più recenti trovano una sintesi più netta — il rapporto tra struttura e propagazione, tra materia e trasformazione, tra tensione formale e codice interno — erano già presenti in forma latente, disseminata, talvolta ancora non completamente materializzata.
Per questo queste opere non vengono qui presentate come antecedenti superati, ma come soglie attive del percorso: luoghi in cui il lavoro ha cercato i propri principi, li ha messi alla prova, li ha lasciati emergere secondo intensità e configurazioni differenti.
Osservate da oggi, esse rendono visibile una genealogia. Non spiegano soltanto ciò che è venuto dopo, ma mostrano come alcuni nuclei profondi della ricerca abbiano continuato a trasformarsi nel tempo fino a trovare, negli sviluppi più recenti, una maggiore continuità strutturale, una più ampia possibilità di incarnazione materica e una più precisa determinazione del linguaggio.
Questa sezione raccoglie dunque non un passato separato, ma le soglie attraverso cui il percorso ha preso forma.
Thresholds of the Journey
The works presented in this section emerge from a body of research developed between 2010 and 2023. They do not form a closed sequence, nor do they unfold as a simple succession of works, but rather as a series of passages, emergences, and formative nuclei through which the language gradually came into definition.
Over these years, the research moved through different states — installation-based, pictorial, plastic, spatial, and conceptual. Some of the elements that, in more recent phases, have reached a clearer synthesis — the relationship between structure and propagation, between matter and transformation, between formal tension and inner code — were already present in latent and dispersed form, at times not yet fully materialized.
For this reason, these works are not presented here as surpassed antecedents, but as active thresholds within the trajectory: places in which the work sought out its own principles, tested them, and allowed them to emerge through different intensities and configurations.
Viewed from the present, they reveal a genealogy. They do not simply explain what came later; they show how certain deep nuclei of the research continued to transform over time, eventually finding, in more recent developments, a greater structural continuity, a broader possibility of material embodiment, and a more precise articulation of the language.
This section therefore brings together not a separate past, but the thresholds through which the journey took shape.
